It's all about suitability and comfort. This page will tell you everything you need to know about me. For example, I am very big on authenticity and showing my personality. Why? My Experiences & Academic Journey

BA in Psychology

I completed a 4-year Bachelor's in Psychology, where I gained a deep understanding of human behaviour, emotions, and mental processes. This period of life was really fascinating for me because I was getting to explore concepts that aren’t often considered in everyday life. I learned about why people behave the way they do, how thoughts influence actions, and how mood can shape one’s perception of the world on any given day!

MA in Counselling Psychology

I completed my 2-year Master’s Program in Counselling Psychology, where I took my deep understanding and fascination with people and learned how to apply this knowledge as a tool to help others in the therapy room. Using everything I learned, I began wondering how I can start helping. How can I assist them in seeing life as full of endless possibilities and support them in realizing change can happen?

Clinic, ADHD, and WSIB Coordinator

I worked alongside 40+ psychologists, psychotherapists, and social workers, and was completely immersed in the mental health world! While I do not offer WSIB or ADHD services in this private practice, I have 3+ years of experience working in this field, connecting with clients, working with mental health professionals, and ensuring the best client care.

Practicum

I spent 9 months working at a clinic, gaining hands-on experience with clients, creating suitable treatment plans, using various modalities, and stepping into the role of a therapist. This period was a significant time in my life, where I grew both personally and professionally. Through my education and clinical experience, I refined the skills that have shaped me into the therapist I am today!

My Modalities

I am big on collaboration & use a mix of non/directive methods. While I guide you along the way, it's ultimately up to you to take action.
It may be difficult at first, and that's okay! We can explore those barriers together.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Did you know that our thoughts can influence our behaviour and mood, even subconsciously? It’s all interconnected! CBT is all about identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours that contribute to emotional distress. It can help you shift or challenge your current way of thinking and view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.
